Carol quoted from, JAVMA
Vol.210 No.4 Feb.15,2000, the results of a survey on courses in
complementary and alternative veterinary medicine (cavm) currently
offered or proposed at the 27 U.S. veterinary medical schools.
Questionnaires were sent to 120 faculty members and 87% responded
that nutraceuticals, nutritional supplements, physical therapy
and acupuncture should be included in the veterinary medicine
curriculum.
Carol pointed
out how the above mentioned categories are now becoming recognized
as highly important to animal health and the face of veterinary
care is changing. We can all look forward to the impact
this will have on the well being of animals and how important
basic nutrition is.
We have the basic
concepts of animal wellness with our products:
- Enzymes -
helps with stress and digestion
- Friendly bacteria
- helps boost the immune system
- Trace minerals-
45% of diseases in animals are related to a nutritional deficiency.
HOW TO PROMOTE CELL TECH IN THE ANIMAL
MARKET:
- Animal fairs
and shows. At any fair or show you do for humans include a
prominent display of how the products help animals as well.
People quoted $300 as a reasonable price range for a show
although some fairs cost up to $1,000.
- Have a backdrop
that says something catchy like the words "Antioxidants
for Animals" and a quip about the benefits to animals.
- One main selling
point for the animal market can be "It was tested on
humans first".
- What about
giving samples? Carol said "I wouldn't give someone a
sample unless you've had a 15 minute conversation with
them first and have created rapport. You must know the animals
needs. You must know which of our products will serve that
animal best."
- Carol pointed
out "What we are selling is out sponsorship. Our ability
to support them with any of the tools we have"
- teleconferences
on products and business of animals (go to SimplexityLeaders.org
to print out the teleconference calendar)
- animal brochures
& all of the other literature we have too
- feeding guideline
chart
- website materials
(www.SimplexityLeaders.org

PLACES TO FIND FOLKS INTERESTED IN ANIMALS:
- Animals fairs
and shows
- People fairs
and shows
- Kennels
- Groomers
- Breeders
- Horse associated
businesses
- Anywhere you
meet someone with an animal and can strike up a conversation
REMEMBER : Listen so you know what their
needs are.
- Be loving and persistent. Carol told
a story of an organic farm she prospected for several years
in a row. She kept supporting them even after they said "no"
for so long. Finally an opportunity came up and they were
ale to create a test feeding program for over 100 chickens.
They must be happy little creatures.
- Consider the millions of pet rats.
We can approach people with the studies and results of healthy
rats re: AFA booklet.
- Carol suggests when you approach a veterinarian-please
remember they are overwhelmed with folks presenting them things.
They also work really hard and need the nutritional support
our products offer. So speak with them about their own health
first.
- Please do send Cell Tech any stories
you have about your animal successes to Simplexity
by using the feedback form on SimplexityHealth.com.
- Please fax questions you have
about your animals wellness to Carol at 970 259-2189.
She will address them on the monthly Animal Connection Call
the last Thursday of the month.
- Carol requests you to 3 way your guests
into the calls. When you are present as their sponsor you
are supporting them, and teaching them how to 3 way their
future guests in.
- Thank you for your interest in
having all creatures be vibrant and healthy.
