Inflammation is the body's natural reaction to injury or infection. Tissues swell, become sensitive, increase in temperature, and may be painful. Any part of the body, inside or out, can become inflamed. Inflammation may be triggered by injuries, arthritis, allergies, bacteria, viruses, and a wide variety of diseases. Generally, our animals are able to convey their discomfort associated with inflammation, and then it's our job to help support their innate ability to heal themselves. The mechanisms of inflammation for our pets and performance animals are the same as they are for us, their human partners. The solutions are similar too. Nourishing the body with antioxidants and real food nutrients helps energize and renew it from the inside out.

Madalyn Ward, DVM, and Carol Bennett are leaders in the field of animal health and wellness, and as our featured speakers, they offer a wealth of information to help us better care for our animal companions.

Each of the Animal Connection calls is a stand-alone wellness seminar. When you look at the entire collection of call topics, you'll see a syllabus to rival the coursework found at many institutions of higher learning. What's the tuition for our seminars? An hour of your time! To make the most of this call, invite your customers and Business Associates, and come ready to take notes.

Other animal connection calls will be posted as they become available.
